Who we are
RUNBTB INC., d/b/a runBTB (“runBTB,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates runBTB.com and any site/app that links to this Privacy Policy (the “Service”).
What this policy covers
How we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information about visitors and users (“you”).
Privacy Policy - The Generals
1) Information we collect
Information you provide (Personal Information)
Examples: name, email, phone, shipping/billing details, payment info, profile details (e.g., username), customer support submissions. Personal Information does not include de-identified or aggregated data.
Collected automatically
When you use the Service, we automatically log: IP address, device IDs, browser type, referring page, pages viewed, searches, time/date, and usage stats. We use cookies and similar tech (SDKs, pixels, tags). See Digital Advertising & Analytics.
Location data
If you enable device location, we may collect precise location; otherwise, we infer approximate location via IP.
Combined sources
We may combine information we collect from you with information from other sources.

Access/Deletion: Email care@runBTB.ca (or use in-app account deletion if available). We’ll take commercially reasonable steps to honor requests and may retain records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
6) Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information. No Internet transmission is 100% secure—use up-to-date browsers with SSL support.
7) Third-party links & social plug-ins
Our Service may link to non-runBTB sites/apps and integrate third-party tools. Their privacy practices govern your interactions with them; review their policies before use.
8) Children
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16 and the Service is not directed to them. Parents/guardians: contact us if you believe a child provided Personal Information; we will delete it.
9) Changes to this policy
We update this policy periodically and will adjust the “Effective” date. For material changes, we’ll notify you (e.g., email, prominent notice on the Service). Changes take effect upon posting unless stated otherwise.

We are not governed by FIPPA (public-sector law), but we commit to industry-standard safeguards and applicable private-sector privacy laws (including consent requirements and breach notification under Canada’s Digital Privacy Act/PIPEDA).

On consent, we may collect, use, and disclose information for security, operations, analytics, and related purposes.
California (CCPA)
Scope: Applies to California “personal information” as defined by the CCPA (with statutory exclusions).
Categories collected/disclosed: Personal/online identifiers; contact info; commercial/transaction data; Internet/network activity; geolocation; inferences; and sensory info (e.g., call recordings) as applicable.
Purposes: Provide and improve the Service; auditing; security/fraud prevention; debugging; customer service; payment/fulfillment; advertising/marketing/analytics; research; short-term transient use; and other operational purposes; legal compliance.
Recipients: Service providers; certain affiliates; government entities (as required).
Your CCPA rights:

Know/Access the categories/specific pieces collected, sources, purposes, categories disclosed/sold, and categories of third-party recipients.

Delete personal information (subject to exceptions).

Opt-out of “sale”/sharing of personal information (including via cookies/trackers used for cross-context behavioral advertising). Use the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link in our footer (or in-app: Profile → Settings → Do Not Sell My Personal Information).

Non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights.
How to exercise: Email care@runBTB.ca (or mail the address above) with the right(s) you wish to exercise. We’ll verify your request (we may request additional information). You may designate an authorized agent.
Financial incentives: From time to time we may offer discounts/promo codes tied to data collection/retention; details and value assessments appear in program terms. Participation is optional; you may withdraw at any time.
Nevada
Chapter 603A permits Nevada residents to opt-out of future sales of covered information. We do not currently sell covered information. Contact care@runBTB.ca for requests.
EEA/UK/Switzerland (GDPR)

Marketing: We send marketing only with your consent; you may withdraw anytime.
